Starting in January 2015 Warrington Youth Club is offering a series of new and innovative workshops from our new Restart Project funded by the Henry Smith charity. The aim of Restart is to offer a series of powerful and impactive workshops to all the young people of Warrington particularly those who are exhibiting “risky behaviours”, lack in confidence/self-esteem or are becoming disaffected from the curriculum and their education.  This service is free of charge within Warrington and Restart programmes will be booked on a first come first served basis.

Restart has been specifically designed to target the most pressing concerns and issues that face young people as they grow through their adolescence and give them the knowledge and information to make more informed decisions, consider potential consequences and consider their future.  The project is broken down into the 6 key themes below, each one a self-contained workshop of an hour and best delivered to smaller classroom group of up to 12 young people over a term:

  • Self-Identity
  • Online Behaviour
  • Bullying
  • Street Safety
  • Anti-Social Behaviour & Criminality
  • Alcohol & Substance Misuse

If you are interested in holding any of these workshops at your school, please contact Cliff Jenkinson at restart@warringtonyouthclub.co.uk or 01925 581227.
